I take pleasure in informing you that the #SunriseAP Investment Summit inaugural session, in partnership with CII, in Vizag took off with a great start.
The summit has been possible because of my long-standing relationship with CII. I have, in my earlier term, promoted CII Partnership Summits several times.
Today, it's a remarkable achievement to witness this attractive make-shift venue of the Summit. I'm surprised too see investors from 41 countries here despite this city not being the Capital city of Andhra Pradesh.
However, I'm glad and confident that this Summit is giving shape to my vision in the form of investments.
With India growing at 7.5%, we are aiming at a growth rate of 14%-15% for Andhra Pradesh. This will not give the state the necessary fillip but also drive growth of the country.
I assure every investor personally that all clearances will be given within 21 days. If there are hassles, we will clear them transparently across the table.
I would also like to suggest industrialists to focus on manufacturing where we not only increase domestic production but chalk out an export-led growth plan for manufacturing.
Further, I suggested to Arun Jaitley garu and Nirmala Sitharaman garu to look draw up plans for India in creating growth corridors. For instance: Visakhapatnam to Chennai and Gujarat to Mumbai can be two such corridors.
That apart, I have request the Government of India to do away with unnecessary permissions and certificates that hamper growth. In Andhra Pradesh, we have eliminated archaic and unnecessary permissions to better the Ease of Doing Business.
By 2022, AP is one of the 3 best performing states; By 2029, Andhra Pradesh will be the best state in India with high happiness index and; By 2050, we will be the best investment destination in the world.
I have the confidence and a vision which will make Andhra Pradesh a trendsetter and a growth engine for India. .Our state will also drive the spirit of competitive and cooperative federalism.
I assure transparency and ease of doing business because we believe in making your business easy in our state. This is the right time to invest in Andhra Pradesh.
As an investor, you will not only profit but also enjoy doing business with our state. I also want to inform all the investors through this post that I will be available at the Summit for the next three days where you can meet me.
It is also my wish for every investor/company to ink at least one MoU with the Government of Andhra Pradesh before you leave Vizag.
I would also like to inform you that next year too, Andhra Pradesh will be holding the CII Partnership Summit in Vizag. I see this as an opportunity for investors to review our work and progress in Andhra Pradesh when they visit us next year.
