The process of devotional service is the process through which we can purify our impure mind, intelligence and senses and if we execute this process regularly based on the direction of scriptures, spiritual master and sadhus, then the desired result will be there. Those who follow this process seriously are able to overcome temptations and past bad habits and those who do not follow the process or do not follow it genuinely or sincerely are not able to achieve success. We can see in our ISKCON society that some devotees are making rapid advancement and if we analyze the cause, we can see that they are following the process of devotional service very strictly. On the other hand we can see devotees being around for a long time but they are not making that rapid advancement due to lack of rigidly executing the process of devotional service.
