Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao has described the Budget presented by Finance Minister Sri Etela Rajender today as the one useful for welfare of the people and for the progress of the State’s economic development. He said that the Budget is a deviation from the traditional Budget, based on the ground realties and is a perfect match to the needs of the State. The CM is hopeful that the Budget will strengthen the rural economy. He hailed the Finance Minister for giving equal importance to all sectors and for giving justice to all thereby balancing all sections. He is also happy that in the Budget allocations are made for the betterment of the lives of the Poor, women and small level employees. The CM is particularly happy the way large funds are given to the SC/ST/BC/Minorities/ people in hereditary professions. He also congratulated the Finance Minister for giving more allocations to the sectors that were neglected under the united AP rule. The Budget is formulated after properly estimating the financial resources in the state, having a good understanding of the actual needs and to utilise the human resources. Though the Centre made changes, the State Finance ministry quite efficiently had allocated funds for the progress and administrative Heads. He said it is a good development that an effort is made to reduce the administrative expenditure and instead increase expenditure on welfare, development and progressive schemes. He congratulated Sri Etela Rajender, Principal secretary (Finance) Sri Ramakrishna Rao, Finance Secretary Sri Sandeep Sultania, Advisor Sri GR. Reddy and the CMO officials for preparing such a good Budget.

Several Ministers, MLAs have met the CM in his Chambers in the Legislative Assembly and congratulated him on the Budget which is aimed at strengthening the rural economy. Under the leadership of Minister Sri T. Srinivas Yadav, leaders of Yadav and Kuruma Community have gifted the CM with a flock of Sheep and the fishermen presented the CM with a fishing net. The women legislators have congratulated and thanked the CM for enhancing the funds under Kalyan Laxmi/ Shaadi Mubarak Schemes and for announcing special cash money for delivery of the pregnant women.

2017-18 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికి ఆర్థిక శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ ఈటెల రాజెందర్ అసెంబ్లీలో ప్రవేశ పెట్టిన బడ్జెట్ రాష్రంలోని పేదల సంక్షేమానికి ఉపయోగపడే విధంగా, రాష్ట్ర ఆర్థిక ప్రగతికి దోహదపడే విధంగా ఉందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ కె. చంద్రశేఖర్ రావు అన్నారు. సంప్రదాయ బడ్జెట్ కు భిన్నంగా వాస్తవిక కోణంలో, తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రానికి అతికినట్లు బడ్జెట్ ఉందని సిఎం చెప్పారు. రాష్ట్రంలో గ్రామీణ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ పరిపుష్టికి ఈ బడ్జెట్ ఎంతగానో ఉపయోగపడుతుందని సిఎం ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. అన్ని రంగాలకు తగిన ప్రాధాన్యత ఇచ్చారని, పూర్తి సమతుల్యతతో బడ్జెట్ రూపొందించారని సిఎం ప్రశసించారు. నిరుపేదలు, మహిళలు, చిన్న ఉద్యోగుల జీవన ప్రమాణాలు పెంచే విధంగా బడ్జెట్లో కేటాయింపులున్నాయన్నారు. ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, బిసి, మైనారిటీ వర్గాల అభ్యున్నతికి, కులవృత్తులను ప్రోత్సహించడానికి అత్యధిక నిధులు కేటాయించడం పట్ల సిఎం సంతోషం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. సమైక్య పాలనలో విస్మరణకు గురైన అనేక రంగాలు, వర్గాలకు ఈ సారి బడ్జెట్లో ఎక్కువ కేటాయింపులు చేశారని అభినందించారు.

తెలంగాణ ఆర్థిక వనరులను సరిగ్గా అంచనావేసి, తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర అవసరాలను సరిగ్గా అర్థం చేసుకుని, తెలంగాణలోని మానవ వనరులను సంపూర్ణంగా వినియోగించుకునే విధంగా ఈ బడ్జెట్ రూపకల్పన జరిగిందని చెప్పారు. బడ్జెట్ రూపకల్పన విషయంలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం మార్పులు చేసినప్పటికీ, రాష్ట్ర ఆర్థిక శాఖ అత్యంత సమర్థవంతంగా నిర్వహణ, ప్రగతి పద్దుల కింద నిధులు కేటాయించిందన్నారు. నిర్వహణా వ్యయాన్ని తక్కువ చేసకుని ప్రజల అభివృద్ధి, సంక్షేమానికి ఉపయోగపడే ప్రగతి వ్యయాన్ని ఎక్కువగా పెట్టాలని నిర్ణయించడం మంచి పరిణామమన్నారు. బడ్జెట్ రూపకల్పనలో విశేష కృషి చేసిన ఆర్థిక శాఖ మంత్రి ఈటెల రాజెందర్, ఆర్థిక శాఖ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి రామకృష్ణ, కార్యదర్శి సందీప్ సుల్తానియా, ఆర్థిక సలహాదారు జిఆర్ రెడ్డిలను, సిఎంఓ అధికారులను ముఖ్యమంత్రి అభినందించారు.
