Today we celebrated the 35th anniversary of HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji's Paramapadothsavam in Nadigaddapalem. The program began yesterday evening with Tolakkam, preceding today's celebration. It is in this place that Pedda Jeeyar Swami's mortal remains rest. It is from this place that HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji started the first of the 108 Sri Rama Krathus. Today our HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji performed ksheera abhishekam to his acharya, HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji with 108 silver kalasams. HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji explained the greatness of HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji. Normally, there are 8 qualities that can only attained when a soul takes bath in Viraja River and reaches Paramapadam. However, exceptionally, we find those qualities in HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji. He was conferred the title "Sathya Sankalpa" after conducting the 1008 Maha Krathus in Thirumala in 1974. This title was conferred upon HH Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji by PP Anangaracharya, and he printed this title in his letter pad. After the abhishekam, Ashtotthara puja was conducted followed by Sevakalam and Mangalasasanam. Many devotees participated and filled the entire asramam divine fervor. The students and faculty of Viveka and Vignan Schools gave musical and dance performaces as a part of the service offered to Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji today.
