Curtain raiser for CM’s London tour
With an aim to bring a global investor outlook to Andhra Pradesh and attracting investments for the development of new capital Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu will leave for London in the wee hours of March 10th.
With India looking towards the United Kingdom for investors and support in the capital development, Chief Minister will make a high-level pitch for investments in Andhra Pradesh to attract investments mostly focused on Amaravati development plan and state government’s flagship Andhra Pradesh Smart Village/ Smart Ward programme.
On Friday, the Chief Minister will visit Mahatma Gandhi statue at Parliament and pay his respects. Later, he will take part in a presentation on UK Smart Cities expertise. During the day, he will hold one-on-one meetings with representatives from various companies elaborating on the investment potential of Andhra Pradesh.
Given that the futuristic city of Amaravati is drawing a lot of attention across the world, UK government has agreed to help AP in preparing investment strategies for the green field capital city. In this regard, the Chief Minister will participate in the launch of Amaravati Smart City Investment Prospectus.
On the second day of his London tour, the Chief Minister will meet SubaskaranAllirajahChairman of Lycatel Mobile. Later, he will hold a meeting with members of the Indo-UK Healthcare and Sean Kidney, Clean bonds. He will also participate in the Indo-British Business Forum and Indo British Investment club making a strong pitch of Andhra Pradesh as the best investment destination.
Following a lunch with the sponsors of Andhra Pradesh’s flagship Smart Village program, the Chief Minister will take part in a social meet and greet CM with the Telugu diaspora.
State ministers YanamalaRamakrishnudu (Finance) and P Narayana (Municipal Administration), Secretary (Energy) Ajay Jain and Principal Secretary (Finance) P V Ramesh, among other senior officials, will accompany Naidu on the tour.
